Price: 5 credits

Get full Bic Camera (ビックカメラ) product details by item id or item URL: name, brand, maker and the manufacturer's own product page, model number, colour, images, tax-included and tax-excluded price, manufacturer list price, BicPoint reward, availability, shipping and delivery messages, release date, warranty period, description, long feature copy with the manual and catalogue links, spec table, category breadcrumbs, rank inside its category, rating and review count, second-hand offer count and starting price, campaigns, the colour/capacity/size variations of the same model and the accessories bundled with it.

## How to use it

Fetch one Bic Camera product by its item id (e.g. '14458601') or a full item URL. Returns name, brand (maker label as 'EN｜JP', reusable as the brand filter of the search endpoint), maker, maker_url (the manufacturer's own page for this model), model_number, color, image/images, price and price_without_tax in JPY, list_price (manufacturer list price, set only where the manufacturer publishes one), availability (InStock/OutOfStock), is_discontinued, point and point_value (BicPoint reward), shipping_message, delivery_message, stock_message, release_date (ISO), warranty_period (as printed, e.g. '1年'), description, features (long copy), manual_url and catalog_url (manufacturer documents), notes, category+category_id+breadcrumbs, category_rank and ranking_url, rating, review_count and review_url, used_count and used_price_from (second-hand offers), trade_in_url, campaigns, variations (each axis such as colour or capacity with every sibling item, its own id, price and stock line), bundle_items (accessories offered together with their own ids and prices) with bundle_total_price, spec_labels, badges, specs (spec table key/values), seller (set when a group company other than Bic Camera sells the item), installation_fee (large appliances and TVs, in JPY), store_stock_url and video_url. Everything Bic Camera sells itself is new; second-hand copies are counted by used_count and handled by a partner. All prices are in JPY and tax-included unless stated otherwise.

## Errors

### 422 — Validation Error

The request body did not validate

What to do: Check the fields against this schema. A URN with the wrong prefix is the most common cause.

- `detail` (array)
  - `loc` (array, required)
  - `msg` (string, required)
  - `type` (string, required)
  - `input` (any)
  - `ctx` (object)

### 408

The request ran past its time limit

What to do: Raise `timeout` in the request body, up to the maximum this endpoint documents. Lowering `count` or turning off the `with_*` flags also helps, because less work finishes sooner.

### 412

Product not found (well-formed item id but no such product on biccamera.com)

What to do: Retrying will not help: either the entity does not exist, or the input points at a different one.

### 429

Too many requests: a rate limit or a usage window is exhausted

What to do: When the response carries an X-Retry-After header, wait that many seconds and retry: the same number is in the body as `detail.retry_after`, and the limit clears once that window passes. The message in the body names the limit that was hit.

### 500

Something broke on our side

What to do: Retrying will not help. If it keeps happening, send us the X-Request-ID from the response headers.

### 529

Rate limit reached, or the endpoint is overloaded

What to do: Wait at least 30 seconds, then retry.

## Response envelope

Success: Array of objects (may be empty if no results)

Error: Error may coexist with partial results if it occurs mid-execution. Check X-Error header and status code.

Every response carries these headers:

- `X-Error` — Error message text (present only on error)
- `X-Request-ID` — Unique request identifier
- `X-Execution-Time` — Execution time in seconds
- `X-Result-Count` — How many records the body carries. 0 means an empty result, which is a normal answer and not by itself an error. A non-zero count can come back together with X-Error when the failure happened partway through — read this header and X-Error independently.
- `X-Total-Available-Results` — How many records exist for this query, when the endpoint can say. On a `dry_run` request this is the answer and the body is empty. It saturates: the endpoint's documented maximum means 'at least that many', any smaller number is exact.
- `X-Warning` — Present when the request body carried keys this endpoint does not document. They were ignored, so any filter you meant to apply through them did not apply. Check the spelling against this schema and retry.
- `X-Retry-After` — Seconds to wait before retrying. Present only on 429.
