# /hkexnews/announcements/search `POST /api/hkexnews/announcements/search` Price: 5 credits Search documents published on HKEXnews by companies listed on the Hong Kong Exchange (Main Board and GEM): announcements, circulars, financial statements, listing documents, monthly and next-day returns and more. Filter by issuer, title words, release window, headline category or document type. Each row is the document's id, title, release time, file link, headline categories and the securities it concerns. ## How to use it Pass stock_code to search one issuer's whole filing history; without it the search covers every issuer, current and delisted, and, unless published_from is set, only the last 365 days. document_type classifies filings released up to June 2007 and the headline filters classify later filings, so pick the one matching the period. A URN with the wrong prefix is the most common cause. - `detail` (array) - `loc` (array, required) - `msg` (string, required) - `type` (string, required) - `input` (any) - `ctx` (object) ### 408 The request ran past its time limit What to do: Raise `timeout` in the request body, up to the maximum this endpoint documents. Lowering `count` or turning off the `with_*` flags also helps, because less work finishes sooner. ### 412 No security under that stock_code, current or delisted What to do: Retrying will not help: either the entity does not exist, or the input points at a different one. ### 429 Too many requests: a rate limit or a usage window is exhausted What to do: When the response carries an X-Retry-After header, wait that many seconds and retry: the same number is in the body as `detail.retry_after`, and the limit clears once that window passes. The message in the body names the limit that was hit. ### 500 Something broke on our side What to do: Retrying will not help.
