Search West Virginia businesses in the Secretary of State registry by name or by registered agent / officer name. Returns matching entities grouped as organizations, trade names (DBA), name changes and registrations/reservations, each with organization id, name, type, effective/established/termination dates, termination reason, charter and class.
Search West Virginia businesses by name (provide name) or by registered agent / officer (provide agent); use % as a wildcard in name. Returns a list of items, each with org_id, group (organization, dba, name_change or registration), name, matched_agent (the agent/officer that matched, set only for agent searches), org_type (e.g. C, LLC, LP, LLP, VA, UNA, TN for trade names), effective_date, established_date, termination_date, termination_reason, charter (Domestic/Foreign) and org_class.
